Outrunners from a 2200Kv Park 180 for a micro foamie to Dualsky's GA6000 60cc-equivalent for giant scale. E-flite's Park and Power series and Spektrum's Avian range are labelled by glow-engine equivalent (.25, .32, .46, .60), which is the easiest way to size a motor for a converted or ARF airframe; Dualsky's ECO and XM lines cover the same ground at keener prices, with the GA series for petrol-class models. FMS, HobbyZone, Multiplex and Flex motors are the fitment replacements for their foam models.

Watts per kilo decides the flying: 100–150W/kg for a trainer, 200+ for sport aerobatics, 300+ for 3D. The tuning combos on the Combos shelf pair each motor with the right ESC, and the FMS EDF motors are cross-listed on EDF Units.
