The ECO 2308C-V2 is Dualsky's budget-priced answer for sport models in the 400–600 gram class — the classic "300-size" replacement slot — and this 1800KV winding is the hot end of the family, built for 2S and 3S packs swinging smaller props at higher revs. At 47 grams and around 200 watts, it delivers the thrust-to-weight that keeps a small sport model lively without the price of Dualsky's premium Xmotor lines.

The Right Winding for the Job

KV is a gearing choice: this 1800KV version suits pilots running 2–3S LiPo with compact props in the 8-inch class, trading top-end prop diameter for RPM — the setup for quick sport models and smaller airframes. If your model wants a bigger, slower prop for more sedate flying, the same motor comes in 1500, 1180 and 980KV windings that shift the balance the other way. Same motor, different character; pick the winding to match your prop and pack.

Proper Construction at an ECO Price

The V2 revision brought more torque and efficiency to the ECO line, and the build quality reads above the price point: CNC-machined, anodised aluminium casing, quality ball bearings, high-temperature windings on a 12N14P stator, and a 3.175mm hardened shaft. Leads come standard-length with presoldered plugs, and a prop fixing system is included on the cage side.

Mounts Either Way

The motor installs in front of the firewall or behind it, with a 16×16mm mounting hole pitch — the flexibility to suit both conventional cowled installations and the stick-mount arrangements of park flyer conversions.

Pairing

Dualsky's recommended controller for the 2308C-V2 series is the XC-22 Lite; on the 1800KV winding with conservative prop choices, the XC12 Lite can also serve, but check your setup's current draw against the 12A rating — the 22A gives headroom. A watt meter check on a new motor/prop combination is always worth the two minutes.
