Dualsky's ECO line is the honest sport motor — proper engineering at club prices — and the 2820C V2 in 940KV is the range's all-rounder: 480 watts from a 138-gram outrunner, sized for the .21–.30 glow class of sport and scale models on 3S or 4S LiPo. If you're electrifying a 25-class airframe or powering a mid-size sport model from scratch, this is the winding that balances prop size against pace — the sensible middle of the 2820C family.

What V2 Changes

The second-generation ECO is a genuine redesign, per Dualsky's own engineering notes: a new electromagnetic design lifts performance and efficiency, impact resistance improves by around 10G for better crash survival, and the motor gains splash-proofing — rust-proof shaft, soak-insulated windings, electrophoresis-coated components and coated magnets — so wet grass and drizzle hold no fear (Dualsky's honest caveat: the ball bearings themselves aren't waterproof). Each motor carries a laser-marked traceable serial number.

Pick Your Winding

Three KVs share the 2820C V2 case: 1120KV spins smaller props faster for pacier models on 2S–3S, this 940KV is the 3S–4S all-rounder, and 800KV swings the biggest props on 3S–4S for torque-first flying. Same 35.2×40.2mm can, same 138g — the winding is the personality.

The System Around It

Dualsky's spec sheet prescribes the setup: the XC-45-LITE or XC4018BA ESC, and propellers of 12x6E or 13x6.5E on 3S (10x5E or 9x5E on 4S) GC3.5 gold connectors come pre-fitted, the 5mm shaft takes the included prop mount, and the 19mm bolt pattern suits standard mounts, behind or ahead of the firewall.
