Alkaline Batteries

Alkaline batteries are not the best option to power your RC vehicle, but they are affordable and are more than suitable to be used in transmitters or as receiver batteries. We have alkaline batteries in D, C, A, and AA sizes - ranging from 1.5V to 9V.

Li-Ion Batteries

Another option for powering your transmitters is Li-ion batteries; while more expensive than an alkaline battery, a Li-ion battery is rechargeable and has a high energy density, making it more effective for power-hungry electronics - some can even be used to power your RC car.  We have 1s and 2s, 700mAh, 850mAh, 1500mAh, and 2000mAh, and 3.6V, 3.7V, and 7.4V Li-ion batteries for you to choose from. You will need to ensure you have the correct type for your transmitter.

LiPo Batteries

When it comes to powering your RC aircraft, boat, or car, many pilots and drivers would agree that a LiPo battery is the best option. A LiPo battery tends to hold the highest voltage under load, allowing it to perform well when a high amp draw is expected. Plus, LiPo batteries come in many forms, so they can be used for a lot of applications. In our collection, you will find everything from a 3.7V 1s battery to a 22.2V 6S LiPo battery. You will need to know which battery is suitable for your motor and ESC.

LiFe Batteries

LiFe batteries are the final type of lithium batteries you can choose - these batteries are best suited to power your transmitter and/or receiver. Compared to a Li-ion or LiPo battery, a LiFe battery will typically have a lower energy density, however, LiFe has a longer life cycle than the other two types. Plus, they are excellent at handling high temperatures with minimal degradation. We have 6.6V and 9.9V, with energy capacities ranging from 900mAh to 4000mAh.

NiMH Batteries

If you are looking for a more affordable option than a lithium battery that can still get the job done, a NiMH battery might be your best choice. NiMH batteries are excellent if you are looking for long-duration batteries that won’t often be used in applications where a high amp load is required. They can be used to power transmitters, receivers, or vehicles, but they won’t perform at their best if you are using them for racing applications. We also stock nickel-cadmium batteries if you are looking for robust batteries that work well in extreme environments.
