Engine Mounts & Standoffs
Bolting the engine to the firewall. O.S. radial mount sets are listed by the engines they fit — 15LA, 25LA, 40–46LA, 25FX/32SX/35AX, 65LA/61–91FX/75AX, FS-91S/110-P, FS-120S/120AX — and the O.S. 5mm aluminium standoffs come in eight lengths from 6.4mm to 50.8mm for setting the thrust line. DLE standoff sets are here for the 30, 35RA, 40, 55, 60, 65, 120 and 170, with the Hangar 9 7mm gas-engine standoffs as the generic option.
Glass-filled nylon mounts from Phoenix Model (.46, .61 and .91–1.20), SIG (.09–.19) and Radio Active (.45–.61) are the budget choice for sport models, and the Saito mounts suit the FA singles. Electric motor mounts are under RC Plane Accessories.
