An enhanced alternative to the R8250 controller, the Hornby Analogue Train & Accessory Controller features a heavier, more durable casing and expanded functionality for layout control.

In addition to standard train control, it includes an auxiliary uncontrolled DC output with an integrated Capacitor Discharge Unit (CDU), ideal for operating solenoid point motors. The auxiliary output can also power layout lighting up to 150mA.

A recessed reduction switch allows you to limit maximum output, helping reduce locomotive speed for finer control.
