The P9102W is the Australian-plug version of Hornby's transformer for app-based control, supplying the R7292 App Based Analogue Control and R7293 App Based Accessory Control units. It's the same supply Hornby sells as the P9100 in the UK, P9101 in Europe and P9103 in the US, fitted with a two-pin Australian plug and rated for 220-240V mains.

A note on the labelling, since it causes confusion: the plate reads "AC ADAPTOR", which refers to the AC mains input. The output is 15V DC at 1.0A, centre-positive.

It also has a second use. With the Hornby R7324 HM7020 PSU adapter, this transformer can feed an R8241 OO or TT8029 TT:120 digital power track directly — Hornby's recommended way of powering the track for HM7000 fitted locomotives.

Fitment

Suits the Hornby R7292 and R7293 app-based control units, and the R7324 HM7020 adapter for HM7000 power track applications.

Not the same as the P9002W. That transformer is 19V DC 0.5A with a 5.5/2.5mm plug and suits the R8250 and R7229 analogue controllers. This one is 15V DC 1.0A with a larger 6.5/3.0mm plug. The two are not interchangeable, and the different plug sizes mean they won't physically fit each other's sockets.
