A 3660-size sensorless brushless motor from Spektrum's Firma range, fitted as original equipment across the Arrma 223S platform. The low-cog 4-pole rotor gives smoother low-speed control than a 2-pole design, which matters as much for crawling out of a bad landing as it does for a clean launch.

Construction is CNC machined aluminium housing, insulated high-purity copper windings, precision bearings, and an alloy steel 5mm output shaft. It's matched to the Spektrum SLT 80A brushless ESC/receiver, which is the ESC these vehicles ship with.

Motors are a wear and heat item on a basher. A motor that's been run hot, dunked, or driven with a slipping pinion will lose punch well before it fails outright, and replacing it restores the performance the car had out of the box.

Sensorless, not sensored

This motor has no sensor wire. It won't provide sensored operation with a sensored ESC, and it isn't a substitute for a sensored motor in a crawler setup.
