The ARA340215 is Arrma's direct mount servo saver with a 25 tooth spline, fitting ten vehicles across the 1/10 and 1/8 4X4 ranges — Big Rock, Granite, Kraton, Outcast, Senton, Vorteks, Infraction and Typhon.

Direct mount means the servo horn and the servo saver are one component. It splines straight onto the servo output shaft, so there is no separate horn to fit and no chassis-mounted saver in the linkage. Inside, a steel spring sets how much force it takes before the saver gives way — enough to hold steering precise under normal cornering loads, but yielding when a wheel hits something solid so the impact goes into the spring rather than into the servo's gear train. A servo saver that has gone soft, or one that has cracked at the spline, stops protecting the servo, and a replacement servo costs many times what this part does.

The 25T spline is a common standard, so this suits most aftermarket servos as well as the kit-supplied unit — worth knowing if you have already upgraded the steering servo, since a stronger servo puts more load through the saver, not less.
