The track that runs everything. Code 100 is the universal standard of OO/HO — its taller rail accepts flange depths up to 1.6mm, which means vintage stock and modern ready-to-run share the same metals happily, no caveats, no wheel checking. This is Peco's concrete sleeper version: the modern British permanent way in flexible 914mm (36 inch) lengths, on nickel silver flat-bottom rail, for layouts that want today's railway look with run-anything compatibility.

Newly Tooled — Better Than the Track It Replaces

The SL-103 is Peco's recent retooling, superseding the old SL-102 — and the upgrade is visible: sharper concrete sleeper profiles complete with moulded manufacturer's text, and the fine Pandrol clip detail that previously only the Code 75 range carried. Code 100's compatibility with Code 75's detail standard — if you last bought Peco concrete flexi years ago, this is a noticeably better product under a new number.

Code 100 or Code 75?

The choice is your fleet: if anything you run is vintage or deep-flanged, this Code 100 is the safe answer — everything runs. If your stock is all modern and you want rail at true scale height, the finescale SL-102F is the same concrete sleeper track in Code 75. Timber sleepers for earlier eras? SL-100 (Code 100) or SL-100F (Code 75). And mixing codes on one layout is fine — the SL-113 transition track joins them cleanly.

Laying and Wiring

Flexi curves by hand to any radius — cut with a razor saw or track cutters and clean the ends before fitting joiners. Standard joiners are the SL-10 (with SL-11 insulated joiners for section breaks), and for power the PL-80 power feed joiners are the matching Code 100 part — solder-free feeds, a pair every metre or two for smooth running everywhere.
