The ARA-1614 is Arrma's replacement side guard set for the 1/10 Senton 223S DSC, supplied as a left and right pair. The guards mount to the sides of the vehicle above the chassis, shielding it from impacts and dirt while supporting the lower edges of the bodyshell. Integrated vents allow heat to escape from the chassis area rather than trapping it under the body.

Side guards do most of their work in the incidents you don't plan for — cartwheels, kerb strikes, clipping a rut sideways. They're designed to take that damage so the chassis rails and electronics don't, which makes them a consumable on a truck that gets driven hard. Cracked guards also stop supporting the body properly, so the shell starts flexing and rubbing where it shouldn't.

Arrma sells side guard sets under the same product name for several other vehicles — including ARA-1603 (Granite 223S), ARA-2140 (Vorteks) and ARA-1291 (Big Rock LWB) — and the mouldings are vehicle-specific, so check the part number rather than the name. Also distinct from the inner body dirt guard set (ARA-1611), which fits inside the bodyshell rather than mounting to the chassis.
