The ARA-2372 is Arrma's assembled replacement shock set for the 1/10 Senton 223S DSC and Vorteks 223S, built to the factory specification: 11mm bore, 109mm length, 2x1.3mm piston and pre-filled with 500cSt silicone shock oil. They arrive built and filled, ready to bolt straight on, with clip-on spring preload adjusters included for setting ride height.

Shocks are among the more tedious parts to rebuild — bleeding air out, getting both sides consistent, chasing a slow leak past a worn O-ring. Buying them assembled skips all of that, which is the appeal if you'd rather spend the evening driving than at the bench. It also guarantees both units are filled to the same level, which is harder to achieve by hand than people expect.

The 500cSt oil is the factory fill for this application. Heavier oil slows shaft movement and firms up the damping; lighter oil frees it up. If you're replacing one damaged shock rather than a pair, match the oil weight to what's already on the car or the handling will be uneven side to side.
