The rear centre dogbone carries drive from the centre differential back to the rear diff — half of the truggy's spine, spinning at every moment the wheels turn and taking the full shock of every landing the rear end absorbs. This is the genuine TLR replacement for the 8IGHT-XT and 8IGHT-XTE, the straightforward fit-and-forget service part when inspection shows worn pins or a bent shaft — and on a truggy that jumps, inspection eventually shows both.

Fitment

Fits the TLR 8IGHT-XT (nitro) and 8IGHT-XTE (electric) 1/8 truggies. The boundary is length: centre dogbones are platform-specific, so the 8IGHT-X 2.0 buggies take their own shafts (TLR242048 front / TLR242049 rear) and the 4.0 family likewise — match the part to the platform via TLR's exploded views if unsure. While the driveline's apart: check the centre and rear outdrives for pin-groove wear — worn cups eat new dogbones, and the lightened outdrive set (TLR242051, on our shelves) serves this same family. Wear tip: rotate dogbones between services so pins wear evenly, and replace as pairs with their cups for the smoothest driveline.
