A direct replacement drive belt for the Losi starter box supplied with the 8IGHT 2.0 RTR and 8IGHT-T 2.0 RTR. The belt transfers drive from the starter box motor to the roller that spins the engine — when it stretches, glazes or snaps, the box turns but the engine won't crank.

Starter box belts are a wear item. They take the full shock load of every start attempt, and a flooded engine or a tight new build puts more strain on them than a warm restart does. Worth keeping a spare in the pit box, because a failed belt ends your day at the track just as surely as a broken diff.

Fitment

For the Losi starter box supplied with the 8IGHT 2.0 RTR (LOSB0084) and 8IGHT-T 2.0 RTR (LOSB0085) only. Fitment to other Losi starter boxes is not confirmed — check your box against these part numbers before ordering. This is not a drivetrain belt for the vehicle itself. The 8IGHT 2.0 and 8IGHT-T 2.0 are also known as the 8B 2.0 and 8T 2.0.
