The Fusion Pro Elite puts the motor and ESC in a single housing, which removes the separate ESC, the wiring between the two, and the space it all takes up. At 48.5mm long it's 9.5mm shorter than the standard Fusion Pro, so it fits tight 1/10 crawler chassis where a conventional motor-and-ESC layout runs out of room.

The drive system is FOC — field-oriented control — rather than conventional sensored control. In practice that means noticeably stronger torque at crawling speeds, smoother throttle response through the low end, and a motor that runs close to silent. The closed-loop torque control adds output automatically when the wheels meet resistance on an obstacle, and reduces it on descents to hold speed steady rather than running away downhill.

Tuning happens either at the bench or on the trail. Fourteen parameters are adjustable via the LED or LCD Pro program box, and the AUX channel lets you connect a spare receiver channel to adjust settings like drag brake force from your transmitter mid-run.

Fitment

Suits 1/10 scale crawlers running 2-4S. Programming requires a Hobbywing LED or LCD Pro program box, or an LCD G2 — Bluetooth programming and firmware updates are not supported on this unit.

A note on the IP67 rating

IP67 protects against rain, mud, snow, sand and standing water in normal use. It isn't permanent — protection degrades with age — and the unit shouldn't be left submerged.
