Folding propellers are the standard fitment for electric gliders and powered sailplanes. Under power the blades swing out and drive normally; when the motor stops, airflow folds them back flat against the fuselage, cutting the drag that a fixed prop would create on the glide. On a soarer that difference shows up directly in sink rate and time aloft.

This is a complete assembly — two 11x8 blades, the hub, and a 30mm alloy spinner with slots cut for the folded blades. The spinner and hub are supplied together, so there's no need to source a folding-specific spinner separately. Blades pivot on the hub arms and are retained by screws, allowing replacement without replacing the whole unit.
