The LC Torana GTR is where the small Holden turned serious. Holden dropped a six into a car that had been built for four cylinders, added the stripes and the badges, and created something that could genuinely embarrass much larger machinery — the car that set up everything the Torana name came to mean over the following decade.

This is DDA Collectibles' fully detailed casting rather than a sealed-body model. Both doors open on a modelled interior with seats, dash and steering wheel. The bonnet lifts on a complete engine bay — block, rocker cover, plug leads, hoses and radiator all picked out in separate colours. The boot opens too, with the spare wheel in place.

Finished in purple with the black bonnet and side stripe treatment, chrome bumpers, grille, mirrors and wipers, GTR badging front and rear, Torana script on the boot, and steel wheels with chrome rims and red centre caps on rubber tyres.

At 1:24 the model measures around 17cm long — large enough to carry this level of detail, and the standard scale for Australian muscle car collections.
