Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of plastic models. Many other materials can also be painted from the 14 ml pot of paint, which is popular with many hobbyists.

All colors - except signal color - can be mixed with each other and can be diluted with Revell Color Mix.

The paint can not only be applied with a brush, but also with a spray gun. Revell Painta Clean is used as a cleaning agent for the brush and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.

This shade is used

• Together with 91 and 99, different color tones can be displayed, such as those found on aircraft that are unpainted but have been left in natural metal
• Silver can be used on fabric-covered aircraft, which are often painted this color
• as a color for the overall paint job on aircraft from the 50s and 60s that received a silver paint job (e.g. F-86 Sabre, F-100 Super Sabre, F-101 Voodoo, Lockheed C-130 Hercules, C-141 Starlifter, etc.)
