A safe, low-odour water-based gouache for adding realistic wear to scale models. Burnt Umber is the deep-brown shadow-and-grime shade — ideal for rich shadow washes and panel lining, built-up grease and oil staining, dark earth and mud in deep recesses, and warm brown filters that tie weathering layers together.

Supplied in a 20ml tube, it can be used straight for concentrated grime and dark staining, or thinned with water or the dedicated Mr Hobby WTT111 thinner for shadow washes, panel lining, and subtle filters. Being water-based, there's no harsh solvent smell and cleanup is just water.

WT06 is part of a six-colour range — white, black, and four earth, rust, and dust tones — developed under the supervision of Kazuya Yoshioka, one of Japan's leading AFV and diorama modelers.
