The dedicated solvent for Mr Hobby's Water-Based Weathering Paint Gouache range. While the gouache paints can be thinned with plain water, this special solvent improves their spreadability and fixing power for a cleaner, more controlled finish — making it the go-to for fine washes, filters, and blending.

Supplied in a generous 60ml bottle, it's simple to use: add a drop or two to loosen paint straight from the tube, thin further for washes and panel lining, or load a cotton swab or brush with it to soften, blend, and lift paint that's already been applied. Being water-based, there's no harsh solvent smell and cleanup is just water.

Designed specifically for the WT01–WT06 Water-Based Weathering Paint Gouache tubes. Note that it is not compatible with Mr Weathering Color, Mr Weathering Paste, or YAKUMO Color, which use their own dedicated thinners.
