Two-blade 17x10 propeller from Menz's S Series, machined in Germany from hand-selected German beech. Menz props are produced on machines purpose-built for propeller manufacture, with blade profiles developed theoretically and refined through flight testing — the result is the workmanship and batch-to-batch consistency that has made these a fixture on petrol and large glow models.

The S Series carries Menz's standard blade width with a swept tip. It suits all types of flying and works especially well with higher-torque engines, with strong aerodynamic braking on downlines — a big part of why these props are a favourite for aerobatic and scale petrol models. The shaped blade tips also reduce noise output, worth having where club field noise limits apply.

The multi-layer painted finish seals the beech against fuel and weather. As with any wooden prop, check balance before first use and re-torque the prop bolts after the first runs, as wood compresses slightly under the hub.

Ideally suited to petrol engines and equally at home on large glow engines in the 17" class.
