A 1:32 scale fully detailed diecast model of the Holden EH Premier sedan in red with a white roof — with opening doors, bonnet and boot.

The EH arrived in 1963 and sold faster than any Holden before it. The Premier sat at the top of the range: the two-tone paint, the full-length chrome side spear, whitewall tyres, chrome hub caps and a better-trimmed interior than the Special or the Standard. It was the Holden you bought when you wanted the neighbours to notice, and it's the version most people picture when they think of an EH.

This casting gets the Premier details right. The two-tone is split by the chrome spear the way the real car was, the interior is finished in red and white to match the exterior, and the wheels wear whitewalls with chrome caps.

Both front doors open on a detailed interior with the two-tone trim, dash instruments, steering wheel and pedals modelled. The bonnet lifts on a complete engine bay with the red block, air cleaner, radiator and plumbing in place. The boot opens on a carpeted floor.

Chrome bumpers, grille, window surrounds and side spear, HOLDEN lettering and Premier script on the boot lid, Premier badging on the rear quarter, a roof aerial — and a tow bar fitted at the rear, which is exactly how a lot of them were actually used.

At 1:32 the model measures around 14cm long.
