The ARA330826 is Arrma's fluorescent yellow shock spring rated at C=0.359N/mm, supplied as a pair and fitting the 1/10 2WD Freedom Flyer, Fury, Gorgon and Quake. Approximately 2.05 lb/in in imperial terms, for anyone working from the American tuning charts. Also listed in the trade as flouro yellow, and occasionally misspelt flourescent.

The spring carries the truck's weight and sets how far the suspension travels under a given load; the shock oil controls how fast that travel happens. The two work together, and changing one without understanding the other is where most suspension tuning goes wrong. A spring that has taken a set — gone shorter and softer after a season of hard landings — will sit the truck lower at rest and bottom out earlier, and because springs sag unevenly, one tired spring on a corner will pull the chassis off level.

Arrma produces this rate in several colours. The colour identifies the part number, not the rate — a fluorescent yellow ARA330826 and a purple ARA330825 spring identically. Choose on appearance, or on matching what is already fitted.
