The ARA-1253 is Arrma's aluminium motor heatsink (heat sink) for the 1/14 Typhon GROM, clamping around the motor can to draw heat away during sustained running. A multi-fin profile increases surface area for heat transfer, and the black anodised finish carries an etched Arrma logo.

Heat is the limiting factor on small-scale brushed and brushless motors — sustained high-throttle running raises can temperature, and a hot motor loses power and wears its bearings and magnets faster. A heatsink won't change your gearing or power output, but it buys longer run sessions before the motor needs to cool.

Arrma also lists a Type E heatsink (ARA-2595) for the GROM. The two are not interchangeable — check which type your vehicle's parts listing specifies before ordering.
