The body that stopped short course trucks flying like shopping bags. SCT bodies are the class's aerodynamic curse — big, flat, and parachute-shaped over every jump — and TLR's Hi Performance shell is the racer's answer: specially designed air outlets, pre-cut at the factory, bleed the airflow outward mid-flight, reducing the parachute effect for flatter, more predictable jumps, while the high-downforce shape buys corner speed and stability at both ends of the pace. Moulded in .040" Lexan — thicker than standard for crash-day durability.

The Tedious Bits, Already Done

Everything modellers postpone is finished at the factory: the body arrives trimmed to shape with all air release holes cut, wearing its protective over-spray film, with precut window masks and a TLR, grille and tail-light sticker sheet included. Your only job is the fun one — paint. Polycarbonate bodies paint from the inside in reverse order, using polycarbonate-specific paint (standard sprays flake off); mask the windows with the included precut masks, peel the outer film last, and the finish rides protected inside the shell.

Fitment

Designed for the TLR 22SCT and 22SCT 2.0 and Losi Ten-SCTE, fits the XXX-SCT — and per TLR, any other 1/10 short course truck: the class runs shared body dimensions, so this shell serves as the racing upgrade across the SC field. Polycarbonate paint sold separately.
