The model features a realistic liquid-cooled inline-four engine, radiator hoses with mesh-pattern detail, and major components such as the engine, front and rear suspension, muffler, and stand mounted to the frame with screws for a solid, precise build. Metal-plated parts are included to replicate brightwork such as the muffler, headlight, fork inner tubes, and mirror surfaces, while clear parts are used for the headlight areas, LCD display, windscreen, and distinctive taillight for a crisp, authentic finish.

The engineering of the kit is designed to help the finished model look cleaner and more realistic. A one-piece fuel tank and front fender part helps reduce visible seam lines, the drive chain is split into right and left halves with finely recreated roller detail, and the brake discs use separate inner and outer sections with drilled detail for easier painting and sharper results. Tamiya also includes a metal rear damper spring, vinyl tubing for items such as clutch wiring and brake hoses, synthetic rubber tyres with realistic tread patterns, and a seat with convincing leather-style texture.

This kit also gives builders display and finishing options straight from the box. You can choose whether to fit the optional headlight cowl, use masking stickers for the meter and fuel tank cap, and finish the model in one of three marking schemes, including Wolf Silver Metallic with blue stripe, Wolf Silver Metallic with gray stripe, or Graphite Black.
