The covering repairer's secret weapon: a water-based, heat-activated adhesive that gives covering film fresh grip exactly where it's lost its own. Lifted edges, peeling seams, patch repairs over bare wood, film that won't hold around a hatch or compound curve — brush Film Bond thinly onto the surface, let it dry completely, then seal the film down with your covering iron. The bond activates under the iron's heat, and the film stays put.

How to Use It

Straight from the label, and it's a four-step job: clean and peel back the lifted film; apply a thin, even coat of Film Bond to the surface; wait until completely dry; then iron the film down with the covering iron set between 100–150°C. The drying step is the one people rush — dry means dry, and the bond is only as good as your patience. Any excess wipes away easily with plain water, before or after — no solvents near your covering.

Why Water-Based Matters

Two reasons: cleanup is a damp cloth rather than a solvent that attacks the very film you're saving, and it's the low-fume choice for the indoor building board. The fine dropper tip dispenses controlled amounts — decant a few drops and spread with a small brush for the thin, even coat the job wants.
