The 150544 is the genuine Maverick Element replacement battery for the 1/18 Atom — a 7.4V 2S Li-Ion pack rated at 1300mAh, fitted with a T-style (Deans-type) connector.

A second pack is the single most useful thing you can add to a small electric truck. Run time on a 1300mAh pack is measured in minutes rather than hours, and with one battery the session ends when it does. With two, one charges while the other runs.

This is a Li-Ion pack, not a LiPo. The two are often spoken about interchangeably but they are different chemistries with different charging requirements — use the charger supplied with your vehicle, or one specified for Li-Ion, and do not assume a LiPo balance charger is appropriate.

Energy rating is 9.62Wh, which is worth knowing if you are travelling with it. Airlines set limits on lithium batteries in carry-on baggage, and packs of this size normally sit well within them, but the figure is rarely published and you may be asked for it.
