The Porta-Pad E is Estes' heavy-duty launch pad, built to take the thrust of E engine launches. Compared to the standard Porta-Pad II, it has a stronger base and a heavier blast deflector, so it stands up to repeated high-power flights rather than wearing out after a season. The three-leg base spreads the load on grass or dirt, and the deflector plate directs exhaust away from the pad at ignition.

The pad arrives flat-packed and assembles in minutes — no glue and no tools required. It breaks back down just as easily for transport and storage between launches. A 1/4in (6mm) launch rod is included, and the pad also accepts the Estes 3/16in (5mm) Maxi launch rod (sold separately) if you want to fly a wider range of rockets off the same pad.
