Not every Cobra wore olive drab. Stationed in Alaska through the late 1960s and 70s, the US Army's arctic AH-1Gs flew in striking high-visibility red-and-white schemes — a world away from their Vietnam siblings, and one of the most eye-catching liveries ever carried by the world's first purpose-built attack helicopter. ICM's "Arctic Cobra" boxing captures these distinctive machines in imposing 1/32 scale.

The AH-1G earned the nickname "aerial artillery" in Vietnam, with a chin turret mounting a six-barrelled 7.62mm Minigun with 4,000 rounds alongside an M129 40mm grenade launcher, and it proved a remarkably survivable and reliable ground-support platform. This boxing builds on ICM's acclaimed big-scale Cobra tooling with additional parts specific to the arctic variant, and 241 parts assemble into a model a substantial 442mm long — the Cobra's slender gunship profile makes a dramatic display piece at this size, especially in arctic red.

The decal sheet provides three Alaska-based marking options: a Fort Richardson machine from 1968, an Elmendorf AFB aircraft from 1975, and a 1973 Cobra of the 120th Aviation Company "Arctic Knights" at Fort Richardson.
