The MagVisor magnifier actually has three levels of magnification. One level is 2.2 times, and is always visible to both eyes. However, inside the visor is a flipdown magnifier which provides an additional level of manification. Finally there is the attached eye loupe, which can be positioned on either side with a screwdriver. So the magnifier provides 2.2 to 4.8x levels of magnification. Lenses are acrylic. In addition, there are two LED light pods (each powered by two AAA batteries) to shed extra light on the object being worked upon.
