A two-blade wooden propeller from Falcon's W2C series, sized 12x8 for internal combustion engines. Wooden props are still the preferred choice for many IC flyers — they're lighter than composite for the same diameter, they absorb engine vibration rather than transmitting it into the airframe, and in a strike they break cleanly instead of loading the crankshaft.

Blades are CNC formed and then hand-finished, with a multi-stage painting process that helps resist the moisture absorption that warps untreated timber. Each prop is finished and balanced by hand before it leaves the factory.

The hub is solid rather than pre-cut for a single shaft size, so it can be drilled to suit multi-bolt hubs where your engine or prop adapter requires it. In the 12in size the centre hole is 6mm as supplied.

Fitment

For internal combustion engines with a 6mm prop shaft, or larger shafts where the hub is drilled to suit. Check your engine's shaft size and recommended prop range before fitting. The solid hub can be drilled for multi-bolt prop hubs.
