One of the great shapes of British Cold War armour comes to 1:35 — the Airfix Alvis FV603 Saracen Mk.5. Built by the Alvis Company of Coventry from the late 1940s, the six-wheeled Saracen was rushed into production for the Malayan Emergency and went on to become the British Army's workhorse armoured personnel carrier, carrying a crew of two and ten troops everywhere from Malaya to the streets of Northern Ireland.
