The 151075 is the genuine Maverick 14 tooth diecast motor pinion for the 1/16 QBit MT brushed monster truck — 0.6 module, with a 2.3mm bore to suit the QBit MT's 390 brushed motor shaft.

The pinion sits on the motor shaft and drives the spur gear. Between them, the two set the truck's gearing: fewer pinion teeth gives more acceleration and less top speed, more teeth gives the reverse. The pinion is the smaller and harder-working gear of the pair, and it takes the brunt of any mesh that has been set too tight or run with grit in it.

Module describes tooth size, and both gears in a mesh must share it. At 0.6 module this pinion runs with the QBit MT's 0.6 module spur gear, part 151071. A pinion of a different module will not mesh correctly no matter how carefully the mesh is set.

The 2.3mm bore is sized to the brushed motor's shaft. The QBit MT Flux and QBit MT Pro use a larger 2845 brushless motor and take different pinions accordingly — this one will not physically fit them.
