The 151042 is a genuine Maverick shock set for the 1/16 QBit MT brushed monster truck, supplied assembled as a pair.

Because these come built, fitting them is a matter of unbolting the old pair and bolting the new pair on. Building shocks from a parts bag is the job most newer drivers would rather avoid, so an assembled set is worth having on the shelf before it is needed.

Shocks absorb everything the truck lands on. A cracked body, a bent shaft or a seal that has started weeping will all show up the same way — the truck stops settling after a jump and starts skating over bumps instead of soaking them up. On a 1/16 truck the shocks sit exposed at each corner and take direct hits in a roll.

The QBit MT uses the same shock at all four corners, so this one part number covers front and rear. A full set for the vehicle is two packs.

Please note: this part fits the brushed QBit MT only. The QBit MT Flux and QBit MT Pro are fitted with aluminium oil-filled coilover shocks and use part 151043. Check your model before ordering.
