Produced between 1962 and 1965, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider represented the natural evolution of the highly successful Giulietta Spider. While retaining the elegant and timeless lines that defined its predecessor, the Giulia introduced meaningful performance and design improvements.

Under the bonnet, the Giulia Spider featured a larger 1,570cc longitudinal inline four-cylinder engine, delivering more power than the earlier 1,300cc unit. The upgraded engine required a revised bonnet design, which became a distinctive styling feature of the model. Interior refinements included updates to the steering wheel, instrumentation and trim, enhancing both comfort and driving appeal.

Equipped with a fully synchronized five-speed gearbox, the Giulia Spider was offered in two versions: the 92hp “Normale” and the more powerful 112hp “Veloce” fitted with twin carburettors. Celebrated for its performance and unmistakable Italian design, the Giulia Spider enjoyed strong commercial success and remains a classic icon of 1960s motoring.
