Gloss pink earns its rack space three ways. For brightwork, it's the statement colour — customs, novelty builds, retro liveries and anything meant to make people smile. For figure painters, it's a mixing cornerstone: pink softens reds, warms whites and underpins countless skin-tone recipes. And for the gift and family end of the hobby, it's simply the tin that gets asked for — hard-wearing enamel means the finished project survives actual play.

Classic Solvent-Based Enamel

The traditional fast-drying Humbrol formula: high-density pigment, strong coverage, and a tough gloss film built for handling. It adheres to most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard and sealed surfaces (test a small area first on anything unusual), with a 14ml tinlet covering roughly 0.3 square metres.

Brush or Airbrush

Brush straight from the tin — two thin coats beat one thick one, and pale brights like pink reward a light or white undercoat for the cleanest result, same as their yellow and orange cousins. Airbrush thinned with Humbrol Enamel Thinners at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Gloss is touch dry in 1–2 hours and hard dry within 24; recoat after 6 hours minimum, preferably overnight. Clean up with Humbrol Enamel Thinners.
