The Summit 85LITE carries the Lite series' modern brains — BLHeli32-class firmware, programmable throttle response, timing and brake, energy-recovery freewheeling, automatic telemetry — into genuine large-model territory: 85A continuous, 110A burst, on 3S–6S LiPo, in a slim 84 × 36 × 9.5mm case that lies flat where big fuselages want it. The BEC grows with the job: 6.0V switching at 7A continuous / 10A peak, feeding the servo count a large sports model, F3A machine or big glider actually carries. Heavy 12AWG wiring at both ends handles the current honestly, with DB4F bullets on the motor side.

The Practical Touches

IP43 splash and dust protection; the 20-minute beacon beep for models gone bush; low-voltage cutoff (3.0V/cell default) and 140°C overheat protection; a long 350mm JR signal lead; and big-motor manners from the factory — start power defaults to a gentle 50% and timing to 18°, the settings that suit large props and heavy rotors. 84g with wires.

Pairing and Programming

Dualsky's tested pairings run their EG, EA V3, ECO V2 and GA motor lines — this is the ESC for the larger EA and GA giant-plane motors, mid-to-large gliders, F3A and fixed-wing UAVs where the 45 and 60 run out of headroom. Programming via Dualsky's USBLINK MP with the BLHeli32 suite (not the Summit X-series USB link); defaults fly well. No battery connector fitted — solder your fleet's standard, and at these currents XT90 or equivalent suits.
