Patina Green No. 365 is one of the more evocative colours in the Revell Email Color range — a blue-shifted green matched to RAL 6000, the shade that takes its very name from weathered copper. This is the colour of verdigris: aged bronze statues, oxidised copper roofs and domes, weathered ship fittings, and the green-turned metalwork that gives dioramas and period subjects their sense of age. If a Revell manual calls out "365", this is the tin.

The Verdigris Colour

RAL 6000 Patinagrün occupies a spot no ordinary green covers — cooler and more blue than foliage greens, softer than signal greens. That makes No. 365 the go-to for copper and bronze patina effects on ships, architectural models and figures, and equally useful straight as a finish colour on period machinery, railway structures and vintage vehicle subjects. It intermixes freely with the rest of the Email Color range (signal colours excepted), so it also earns its keep as a tinting colour for custom weathered-metal blends.

Silk Finish

The 300-series silk sheen suits this colour's subject matter well — real patina is neither glossy nor dead flat, and the satin surface reads convincingly on metal-effect finishes. As with all silk and gloss Email Colors, it also gives decals a smoother surface to bond to than matt paint, with a matt clear coat available to adjust the final sheen if needed.

Classic Enamel Formula

Email Color is Revell's synthetic resin enamel, proven over decades — kind to polystyrene, strong coverage, self-levelling, and happy on plastic, wood and metal without special preparation.

Brush or Airbrush

Use straight from the tinlet for brushing, or dilute with Revell Color Mix for spraying — Color Mix doubles as a drying retarder in the airbrush. Recoat after 4–6 hours, with complete drying in 24 hours. Clean brushes with Revell Painta Clean and spray equipment with Revell Airbrush Clean.

Enamel, Not Acrylic

Note the chemistry: 32365 is the enamel version. If you work in water-based acrylics, the same Patina Green Silk is available as Aqua Color 36365 (18ml).
