German Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind

Built in the latter half of WWII to protect main military units from Allied fighter-bomber attacks was the German Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind, which now comes represented as a plastic assembly model kit. The form of the Wirbelwind’s unique turret which compromised 18 armor plates has been faithfully reproduced with this model. Another accurately reproduced feature of the Wirbelwind is its four 20mm anti-aircraft guns which can be moved up and down even after assembly. The front mounted Notek light and the rear mounted spare gun barrel cases have a rich finish. Also included in the kit is an officer figure scanning the sky with binoculars, two gunners, and an ammunition loader all dressed in winter uniforms. (Total: 4)
