Description:

In 1981, the MiG-25RBK aircraft were put on modernization. The RT-Kyb-3M reconnaissance station was replaced with a more effective Shar-25 detailed electronic reconnaissance station, in addition to which the new generation of avionics were used. Panoramic AFAs were installed. The modernized aircraft was called the MiG-25RBF.

It was created in 1980, passed state tests in 1981. According to the MiG-25RBF type, previously released MiG-25RBK aircraft were developed.
