Description:

Soviet bomber II MV SB (high-speed bomber) was one of the world's first twin-engine bomber with a smooth metal lining and retractable landing gear. The Security Council (ANT-40) was designed in the KB AN. Tupolev under the leadership of A.A. Arkhangelsk. He made the first flight on October 7, 1934.

Since 1937, M-100A engines with three-blade VISH-2 screws were installed on serial SBs.
