One of the most legendary bush planes of the 20th century, the de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver was built in 1946 to a simple brief from wilderness pilots: exceptional short take-off and landing ability, ruggedness in harsh conditions, and adaptability to wheels, skis or floats. It became the symbol of backcountry aviation — and FMS has recreated the classic at an ultra-portable 800mm wingspan that keeps all of its character.

The scale detail is superb for the size, with an accurately reproduced radial engine, rivet lines, antennas and steel wire landing gear with realistic fairings. True to the original, this little Beaver is a genuine STOL performer, lifting off in as little as 3 metres — perfect for parks and small fields. Knob-style quick-release wings attach and detach tool-free in about 10 seconds, the snap-on belly hatch keeps the battery secure, and a factory slot in the wing top accepts a 25mm AIO FPV camera (sold separately) for plug-and-play first-person flying. The pre-installed power system pairs a 2315-KV3850 brushless motor and 12A ESC with four digital servos for smooth, quiet, controlled flight.
