Revell 65472 USS Constitution 1:146 Scale Model Starter Kit

The USS Constitution was the first ship in service in the United States Navy. The ship was nicknamed "Old Ironside" during the war of 1812. Cannon fire from the English warship HMS Guerriere ricocheted off the side walls of the Constitution as if they were made of iron rather than hardwood. The cannons of the Constitution then destroyed the Guerriere. During all of her voyages at sea, she was never boarded by enemies. The Constitution can still be viewed in Boston Harbor today. She is anchored there as a symbol of the young nation.
