Point is WHY ??
13 May 2018NIce LOOKING and SOUNDING 120cc petrol engine. BUT !! 3 times the price of an EME120cc and it IS NOT 3 times the engine. Tested side by side, the EME out performed the OS by 40- 60% in ALL tests except #dB level. The RCGF 120cc at $820AUD is also almost 2 times the REAL IN MODEL performance of this expensive, shiny piece of kit. As the engine is cowled MOST times, I know PURE performance outweighs brand name " I'm Flashier, Wealthier and DUMBER than you " anyday. For the cost of this engine, I put 2 x 120cc Class Staudacher S-300 in the air with TOP OF THE Line gear in them. Two COMPLETE flying models, with MKS servo's and PowerBox Pro setups and both TOGETHER were still CHEAPER than this engine costs alone. It gets 2 stars, for the noise it makes, but a BIG FAT ZERO for the cost and side by side comparison with better, FAR CHEAPER engines. But then my RCGF collection ( 7 so far ) routinely beat the hell out of DA and DLE in every test anyday of the week.
